Privacy policy
Plain-English summary of what Holm collects, how it's used, and your rights. For the long-form legal version or to send a privacy request, use the contact form.
1. What we collect
Holm collects only the data needed to run your home's record: property addresses, maintenance history, documents you upload, expenses you track, and account details (your email, the name you give us, and your password — which is stored only in encrypted form, never in a way anyone can read). We also collect basic, privacy-respecting analytics (which pages you visit on holm.com), and we don't track you across other sites.
2. How we use it
We use your data to render your dashboard, send maintenance reminders, and improve the product. We do not sell your data. We do not use it to train AI models.
3. Third parties
Holm relies on a small number of outside vendors to keep the product running: a cloud hosting provider that stores your data, a payment processor that handles billing, and AI providers that power the assistant feature. Every vendor is bound by contract to not train on your content or share it. The current vendor list and policies live on the Security page.
4. How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is active. After you delete your account, we erase within 30 days, except billing records we're required to retain by law.
5. Your rights
You can export, correct, or delete your data at any time. California residents have additional rights under CCPA; EU residents have rights under GDPR — send a request via our contact form and select Privacy as the topic.
